Yellow-Rumped Warbler Trapped in Tree
While photographing birds at the Leonabelle Turnbull Birding Center in Port Aransas today I noticed that this Yellow-rumped warbler appeared to be hanging from a tree branch in search of food. I thought this was strange behavior so I kept on shooting.
When I realized it had gotten stuck on the branch by its tail feathers I immediately put down the camera and approached the bird to scare it enough so it would free itself. The bird flapped its wings for a little bit and eventually freed itself.
